Every time I fly back to my hometown, I make sure to head to Churrería Manolo. They are consistently good - kept fresh and warm.. they are crispy on the outside, delightfully fluffy and light on the inside. They come without a filling but I prefer the ones filled with the sweetness of manjar blanco - the local version of dulce de leche.
